Our Story

Craftsmanship Before Trend

Owen Buxxtt makes hallmarked fine jewellery the honest way: hand-finished in Britain, priced without a high-street markup.

From a Frustrating Anniversary Search

I spent three weekends trudging round jewellers before our tenth anniversary, looking for one ring that wasn't either mass-produced tourist stock or a designer name charging triple for the same 18ct gold. I found a small workshop willing to show me exactly what a ring cost to make, hallmark included, and the gap between that number and the shop price down the road was embarrassing. That gap is where Owen Buxxtt started.

So we work with one small hallmarking workshop in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter instead of a chain of overseas casters. Every gemstone is bought with a Kimberley Process certificate, every piece is hand-finished rather than machine-polished, and we publish the hallmark number on every product page so you can check it yourself at the Assay Office. It means we can't chase every trend the way a high-street chain can. It also means the ring you buy is the ring you'll still be wearing in twenty years.

We're still a small team, no call centre, no script. If a ring needs resizing, refinishing or just a polish five years from now, the same workshop that made it will still take the call.

How It Started

Hand-Finished, Not Mass-Cast

Every piece is set, polished and finished by hand in our Birmingham workshop, not on a factory line.

Traceable, Conflict-Free Stones

Every diamond and coloured gemstone carries a Kimberley Process certificate before it ever reaches the bench.

Honest, Transparent Pricing

No high-street markup and no seasonal sale games, just the true cost of materials and craftsmanship.
